What to expect:
run from marina to fishing destination varies in time
Charleston can be very hot in the summer, expect it to be hot, bright, and humid.
poling along grass banks, oyster beds, creeks and open areas in shallow water
sight casting from 10 ft to 50 ft, Often times in wind (learn your double haul)
Sometimes hopping out of the skiff and stalking tailing fish on foot during flood tides
Fly Fishing Trip Rates
1/2 day - 4 hours = $500
3/4 day - 6 hours = $700
full day - 8 hours = $900
*price includes two anglers
What you need to bring:
polarized sunglasses and a hat
I ask clients to try and bring their own refillable water bottle, otherwise I can provide them.
lightweight/quick-dry clothing in summer months
any specialty drinks you would like (water is provided)
Any food or snacks
wading booties if you have them
extra sunscreen
What is provided:
rods, reels, line, leader & tippet, flies
water & ice & food upon request
fishing license
